Advanced Kit: My Favorite Insturment for Shaping

The Advanced Kit has become an indispensable part of my practice. The 10/07 file, made of flexible blue wire, is powerful and quickly opens blocked canals while providing coronal enlargement. Its 10-sized tip and 7 taper prevent tip binding, enabling safe coronal and mid-root enlargement even without hand files.

The next step involves the slim, gold-colored 10/04 file, which effortlessly reaches the apex, even in canals where an 8-sized C-type hand file cannot. For challenging MB2 canals, the optional 08/03 Glider Pro file provides a solution, easily accessing the apical region when the 10/04 file falls short.

With these files, I rarely need hand files, thanks to working with an endomotor with built-in apex locator functionality. After reaching the apex with the 10/04 file, shaping continues with the streamlined sequence of 17/05 and 25/04 files, reducing the total number of files used.

To Achieving Greater Apical Enlargement

Scientific studies show that increasing apical enlargement improves healing rates, particularly for teeth with lesions. Super System files enable this without unnecessary coronal enlargement, thanks to their unique design. Unlike other systems, the Larger files (35/04 and 45/02) achieve apical enlargement effortlessly while minimizing coronal friction.

The innovative thin coronal section and short blade design allow for a more effective cleaning of canal walls. For example, I can often shape mesial canals of molars up to size 45 using just two files after the 25/04 file.

Optimized Filling with Compatible Guttaperchas

While single-cone methods are widely used, I prefer lateral condensation with 02 tapered guttaperchas or apical plugs with MTA for superior apical sealing. Super System files are compatible with single-cone techniques, and I found that their 17/05, 25/04, 35/04, and 45/02 files align perfectly with corresponding guttaperchas, ensuring a seamless workflow.

Minimal Invasive Kit: A Practical Solution

The Minimal Invasive Kit allows for canal shaping with just two files, saving significant time in straightforward cases. In more complex anatomies, I can seamlessly switch to the Advanced Kit for additional support.

Retreat One File: A Game-Changer in Retreatment

The Retreat One file is the most enjoyable retreatment file I’ve ever used. Its unmatched flexibility minimizes the risk of ledging in curved canals, and it works effectively even at high speeds (600 rpm). The wide flute design prevents clogging, maintaining performance throughout the procedure.

Despite its minimal coronal width, the file adheres to a minimally invasive philosophy, making retreatment both efficient and conservative. Post-cleaning, the Activator file ensures the removal of residual guttapercha and activates irrigants for superior disinfection.
